Service Description

When should children and adolescents start a strength training program? We incorrectly hear strength training exercises at a young age is deem unsafe and stunts growth development. It’s okay for youth to carry a heavy backpack around school, but the thought of youth lifting weights in the gym sets off high risk of injury during the development phase. This misconception might place youth at higher risk of injuries in their sport or delay coordination development. Under qualified supervision, children and adolescents should participate in a strength training program when they are physically and mentally inclined to follow coaching instructions. Youth Strength & Conditioning will teach fundamental lifting technique and instill good training habits that will last a lifetime. In addition to the positive adaptations such as increased muscular strength, power, endurance, flexibility, balance, and coordination from the one-on-one training, the youth will overall improve self-esteem, self confidence and reduce the likelihood of injuries. Purchases are non-refundable, all pricing include trainer external fee, taxes, and pricing may change at any time. Personal training rates are per person, per one-hour session and DOES NOT include a strength training program. Client is responsible for gym drop in fee. Cancellation of a training session less than 12-hour notice to the scheduled appointment time will be charged in full for that training session.
